“I’ve never had that happen before, so thanks to Michael Andretti and (engineer) Ray Gosselin for making the call. I mean, that was amazing! I had an opportunity to pick through it, and I knew it was going to come down to the wire. TK (Tony Kanaan) was really strong on old tires, so that was amazing, but I’m sure he’s pretty disappointed about it. That was so much fun. I hope I get another shot like that one day. The car was mediocre at times; the DHL car was really good at the beginning of the race and then everybody kind of caught up to us. It just became very difficult to go anywhere after the first couple stints. We had a tough time in the pits, we had a tough time on the track. Then at the end, we made the right call, and I just went for it. That was awesome.”
