Ryan Hunter-Reay enters the weekend in second place in the championship standings, only five points behind Will Power with three races remaining in the 2012 season. Ryan was 19th quickest in the practice session today.
“Each of the (four Andretti Autosport) teams tried different things during the session. The track has definitely changed since the test (held last week at Sonoma), and we’re going to have to work together to find the speed we’ll need. I’m confident in my guys, and the DHL/ Sun Drop boys have been good all season about taking the Friday data and then coming back with a much faster set-up for qualifying and usually even better in the race. That’s what it will take to go for the win Sunday.”
