Grand Prix Of Indianapolis Race Preview

  • First American to reach victory lane after clinching victory at Barber Motorsports Park in the last round of competition – his 12th career win
  • Sits second in the Verizon IndyCar Series championship points standings, only 18 points behind the leader

“The IMS Road Course is pretty fun, we had a good time on it (at the test); it’s got a good mix of high speed sections and some slow speed. I think it will lend itself to some pretty good racing though, because it has some long straights with some pretty tight corners off the straights. We had a great weekend in Barber — getting the win for the DHL team at the last race — so we are hoping to keep the momentum going and would love to win the inaugural Grand Prix of Indianapolis.”
