Honda Indy Grand Prix of Alabama Qualifying Report

“Not a bad place to start, considering last year we qualified 18th – it’s a good turn around. I definitely had my hands full out there. We need to try to make some changes for the race tomorrow that could potentially settle the car a little bit and make it a bit more predictable to get that DHL Honda its third victory here. That’s the goal.”

Qualifying for the Honda Indy Grand Prix of Alabama is complete as Saturday’s on-track activity concludes. Tomorrow will bring a final warm-up session in the morning followed by the 90-lap race beginning at 3:30 p.m. ET.

  • Qualified fifth
  • Competed in his second consecutive Firestone Fast Six

Race coverage will be broadcast live on NBC Sports Network at 3 p.m. ET.
