Indy Grand Prix of Alabama Race Report

“We soldiered on today. Went from 11th to eighth. I really think that was about all we had considering the tire strategy that the others had with newer (Firestone) Reds at the end of the race. We’ll take our eighth place and move on.”

The 10th annual Honda Indy Grand Prix of Alabama saw the checkered flags wave in the Birmingham sky today as the NTT IndyCar Series completed Round 3 of 2019 competition.

  • STARTED: 11th // FINISHED: 8th
  • CHAMPIONSHIP: 8th (66 pts.)
  • OF NOTE: Earned his 119th career top-10 finish // Ran as high as fifth

The team heads to the streets of Long Beach next weekend to defend their reign as 2018 winners at the historic street circuit.
