The NTT INDYCAR SERIES made their highly anticipated return to the streets of Belle Isle for the Chevrolet Detroit Grand Prix doubleheader. Andretti Autosport’s four-car stable showed impressive speed in the weekend’s only practice session with all four cars in the top 11 positions.
The 25-car field will split into two groups for qualifying to set the grid for Saturday’s Chevrolet Detroit Grand Prix Race 1. Qualifying action will air at 11 a.m. ET on NBC Sports Network followed by coverage of Race 1 at 2 p.m. ET on NBC.
