Indianapolis 500 “Fast Friday” Practice Report

“Today went alright. We worked on the car all day and are just still trying to find some speed. Not sure where we stand for tomorrow, but we are definitely going to put the best car out there.”em>

Practice week for the 2019 edition of the Indianapolis 500 is complete and the Andretti stable heads in to Crown Royal Armed Forces Qualifying Weekend with hopes of advancing all five cars into the Fast Nine Shootout.

  • Finished Tuesday 12th overall with a best speed of 227.642 mph
  • Finished Wednesday 27th overall with a best speed of 225.696 mph
  • Finished Thursday 30th overall with a best speed of 223.074 mph
  • Finished Fast Friday fifth overall with a best speed of 230.466 mph

Qualifying begins tomorrow at 11 a.m. with the first six hours broadcast on INDYCAR Pass on NBC Sports Gold and the final hour on NBCSN, setting positions 10 – 30 and advances the top nine drivers to Sunday’s Fast Nine Shootout and final six drivers to Day 2’s Last Row Shootout.
