Bommarito Automotive Group 500 Race Report

“That’s a wrap at Gateway. I had a good race, a phenomenal start – that was a lot of fun, going around the outside from 14th to seventh. From there, I think we were on a really good strategy. We went fast, we were leap-frogging people in the pit cycle. It would have been really nice to see that pan out. Kind of par for the course, the yellow came out right when we needed it not to. There’s nothing you can do about that. The 28 team gave me a great shot today. We had some speed when we needed it. Things needed to roll our way with that strategy, unfortunately they didn’t, and we ended up seventh.”
