XPEL 375 Race Report

“Today was a lot better than yesterday. Last night we had a lot of tire vibrations, so we made big setup changes and I was a lot happier with the DHL Honda tonight. Unfortunately we had to start from the back. That one qualifying session getting rained out really hosed us this weekend. Regardless we made some good changes and the guys did a great job in the pits, but then we had brake drag which was really slowing us down. We got on the right strategy with Sato that could’ve been a top-two or a top-three finish, but things just didn’t pan out. The yellow came out again which put our strategy aside, but we were able to hold on for a top 10. Brake drag and another untimely yellow kept us from it today, but we’ll keep fighting and hopefully it goes our way in Indy.”

With two more races under their belts, the Andretti Autosport squad heads ‘Back Home Again’ and turns all attention to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
